The majority of our vertical liquid level indicators offer versatility by allowing easy transition from normally open to normally closed modes. This is achieved by simply removing the retainer and flipping the float. In its normally open state, the switch remains OFF until the float is buoyed by the liquid, making contact with the elastic ring, thus switching it to the ON position. Once activated, the switch triggers the tank's automatic emptying process until the switch reverts to the OFF position, signaling the system to refill the tank. This automatic cycling ensures the tank never falls below a safe level.
