Most of our vertical liquid level indicators boast an ingenious design, allowing them to be easily switched from normally open to normally closed mode. This transformation is achieved by simply removing the retainer and flipping the float. In its normally open state, the switch remains OFF until the buoyancy of the liquid raises the float, causing it to engage with the elastic ring and activate the switch to the ON position. Once active, the switch can autonomously initiate the tank emptying process until it deactivates, signaling the system to commence refilling the tank. This intelligent operation ensures that tank levels are consistently regulated, preventing them from dropping too low. The potential applications for this straightforward yet highly effective switch are virtually limitless.
