In the normally open configuration, the switch remains OFF until buoyed by the rising liquid, at which point it makes contact with the elastic ring, activating the ON position. Once ON, the switch initiates automatic tank drainage, halting once the switch returns to the OFF state, prompting the system to refill the tank. This ensures an ideal liquid level is consistently maintained.
