In the normally open state, the switch remains OFF until the float ascends with the liquid, activating the elastic ring and turning the switch ON. This prompts the system to begin emptying the tank until the switch returns to OFF, signaling the system to refill the tank. This mechanism ensures that the tank's fluid levels are consistently managed, preventing them from dropping too low.
